The Kangaroo Math Competition is the world’s biggest and most exciting mathematics contest, uniting over 6 million students from 115 countries who enjoy solving creative and challenging problems. Founded in the 1980s by the Association Kangourou sans Frontières (AKSF) in Paris, the competition inspires students to see mathematics as fun, dynamic, and full of discovery.
Malaysia joined the AKSF family in 2012 and has organized the national edition since 2013, with nearly 77,000 students from over 2,400 schools participating in 2025, all sharing the excitement of learning and the thrill of mathematical thinking.
Students should be registered under the following categories according to their academic year in 2026.
